As a Scottsdale Photographer, I get the pleasure of photographing many beautiful families across the Phoenix Valley. With Summer quickly approaching, outdoor sessions, especially for maternity, will become less desirable. This isn’t to say outdoor maternity sessions aren’t possible during Arizona summers…just reminding you that you have the option for an indoor session, too. And, to be honest- I don’t even want to be out there in 115-degree heat, let alone put you at potential risk.
Your comfortability is always most important to me. If you aren’t relaxed during your photoshoot, then you most likely won’t enjoy the end product of your photos. How you feel directly correlates to how well you love your photos. During an indoor maternity session, you’ll get to relax more making this much more comfortable than being outside. We will be in a temperature controlled studio(that also has fans!). You won’t have to worry about dripping sweat or taking too many water & snack breaks. And, your hair and makeup will last- keeping you feeling beautiful!
Capturing the true essence of your pregnancy journey is highlighting your transforming body. With an in-studio maternity session, you’ll be more free to go fully nude if you choose to do so. Relative to being able to relax more for your maternity photoshoot, you may opt for an Intimate Maternity Boudoir session. While this can be done outside, it’s much easier to do in-studio. You won’t have to worry about the potential of wandering eyes or worrying about being seen.
As part of The JSP Experience, I provide you with access to my Client Closet and offer styling guidance. During your pre-session consultation, we go over what you would like to wear. Many moms prefer to have a couple of looks- some more formal and others more casual. With a dressing room only a few steps away, you’ll be able to quickly and easily change into multiple options.
Because of the ease of the above mentioned points, the intimate, candid maternity photos that you dream of come easily. You can be just as comfortable as if you are at home. An in-studio maternity photoshoot allows you to achieve the same look as in-home, but without the distractions that you have at home. Even if you are in a separate room from messes, being at home still brings the anxiety of your to-do list to the forefront of your mind. When you are in a different location, it’s easier to enjoy the present and focus on the memories being made.
As a Scottsdale Photographer, I take a lifestyle approach to maternity sessions. I love capturing the candid, gentle nature of documenting your journey through pregnancy. You’ll have motherhood photos that are feminine & elegant, organic, and nostalgic. Take the time to celebrate and be present in your family photos. I love this studio maternity session. Great job!
Thank you so much!
These are beautiful–I especially love the first set. Mom’s dress is so beautiful, is it from the Client Closet?
Right! It’s gorgeous! It was mom’s…I’ll have to ask her where she got it from!
So many great reasons to schedule an in studio maternity session! Here in Boston we have the opposite problem. With -20 degree weather last weekend being in studio was much more comfortable!
