I’ve found intimate maternity boudoir photography sessions to be one of my favorite ways to photograph pregnancy and motherhood. It’s soft. Natural. Feminine. Inherently Nostalgic. The intimacy of maternity boudoir photography forces you to slow down and connect with the divine feminine. You leave feeling beautiful and empowered after this uniquely transformative experience.
Whether this is your first, fourth, or last, each pregnancy is uniquely special and you deserve to be celebrated!
Having the ability to create a human being is magical, but pregnancy can be extremely challenging mentally and physically. You can honor your own personal journey through motherhood and still take time for yourself. An intimate maternity boudoir photo session is a way to feel sexy and be pampered before your baby arrives.
A maternity boudoir session with Jasmyn Sambac Photography guides you through a relaxing and stress-free portrait experience. From start to finish you will feel supported and taken care of. Have the pleasure of slowing down and taking your time to truly feel the unique connection you have with your baby, your mind, body, & soul, and your partner.
Your photoshoot will include styling guidance and complimentary access to the Client Closet- more about that below. Adding professional hair & makeup will give you a polished look to help you look and feel your best.
You’ll be gently directed through a series of natural poses. The expertise of a maternity boudoir photographer adds trust and comfort, which helps you relax and be yourself in front of the camera. I encourage you to work with a professional photographer whose work and personality resonate with you.
In the end, you’ll be featured in exquisite maternity boudoir photographs and have custom Fine Art products in your hands and displayed in your home. The results leave you glowing with confidence and feeling empowered. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone should experience a full-service photoshoot for this reason alone.
As you move further along in your pregnancy, you become more connected to the divine feminine. It’s truly amazing to see and experience how our bodies transform in such a beautiful way to create a new life. Each kick and flutter raises the excitement level another notch and serves as a reminder that you’re another day closer to meeting your baby. Physically, your body is formed of gorgeous curves which naturally represent feminine, sensual, and nurturing elements.
While we may not always feel our best throughout our entire pregnancy, when we stop and think about how incredible this journey is, it inherently becomes nostalgic and the marker of a significant milestone in our lives.
The task of finding something to wear, especially while pregnant, is exhausting. Because you may only wear an item once, I provide all of my clients with complimentary access to my Client Closet and styling guidance.
There are a variety of wardrobe options based on your level of comfort. How much or how little you choose to wear is up to you. Remember “intimate” is a feeling. You can opt to wear a light flowy gown or be fully nude. We are creating art and there are no limitations to what you can do.
I typically advise you to reach out early in your 2nd trimester. You want to schedule your maternity photo shoot for when you are between 28-34 weeks pregnant. However, each pregnancy is different and you may need to schedule outside of this timeframe. That’s totally okay! For more information on why this timeframe, I wrote more in detail about when to take maternity photos.
